  1. A blueberry is a North American acid-soil
  2. shrub. The genus also includes huckleberries,
  3. bilberries, deerberries, and cranberries, 
  4. many of which resemble each other and are 
  5. difficult to distinguish from blueberries.
  6. All have small, elliptical short-stalked 
  7. leaves, slender green or reddish twigs, and 
  8. whitish bell-like blossoms.
